The Sunday before Thanksgiving I went to a friends house for "friendsgiving" dinner. When you work in the service industry Sunday is the start of your weekend but everyone else is getting ready for the week so we tend to send our days off together as well as our workdays.
Most of them aren't from Lexington so they don't have their own family dinner to go to. We fried a turkey and made lots of sides, the boys even made homemade fries which were the best part. Whenever this group gets together Oliver is always the resident chef, I'd never fried turkey before and it was so yummy! I might even try it myself one day, it sure seems easier than the 6 hour version.
